Skin care tips in summer at home
During the dry, hot season, it can be challenging for most people to keep up with their skincare routines because of all the demands that come with the time of year and summer. However, it is possible with a few changes to make your skin glow during the summer with just basic preparations. Be prepared for the sun and use this simple skincare routine instead of applying a lotion or cream as you usually would during the day so that your skin doesn't get tired. Here are some steps to follow to make sure that your skin remains moisturized and glowing in summer:
1) Water
Water is an extremely important part of many skin care activities or products. It transports nutrients throughout your body. Also, it cleanses your face from dirt, grime, oil, etc. You need lots of it when you're sweating but you don't want to reach for every bottle on your shelves if you sweat too much. Therefore, bring a bottle that has enough water in it and make sure to replace that every morning after you come home from work. If there's no water available from the tap, take some in your small glass coffee cup. Remember to fill it out before going out. Just in case you forget your water bottle, feel free to have one anyway at least once a week so that you don't run out!
2) Cleansing Treats
You might not realize this, but cleaning your face from the outside is just as important as the inside. Even very gently, your body will let loose a bit of dirt and toxins. So, you need to clear those off. There are several ways you can remove dirt, oil, impurities, and other elements that clog pores as well as prevent sebum production. One simple way is through cleansing scrubs, which are made of various natural ingredients; they absorb the dirt easily and cleanse your skin without damaging its natural oils. Another method that works wonders for keeping your skin hydrated is by making it a habit to wash your hands in between uses like brushing your teeth or preparing your breakfast. You'll also want to invest in a natural soap for your hands because harsh chemicals are very drying.
3) Moisturizing Tries
It might seem strange, but we have to start moisturizing our skin from the top down so that we have got a layer of protection around us and keep our tissues moist throughout the day. If you have oily skin, then you should try something with SPF. Try using jojoba oil. The texture of the product can help keep your skin soft and supple. It also leaves your hands feeling fresh for days. However, remember not to overdo it either as your skin won't thank you for it. Some moisturizers can cause minor irritation or acne if used too often. Make sure that you take regular breaks so that your skin doesn't become overly sensitive. Another thing to consider is how easy it is for your skin to absorb moisturizer. This goes for any kind of beauty product whether it's bath bombs, powders, creams, balms, etc.
4) Exfoliating Scrub
This is an essential ingredient in any skincare. Many of us tend to get trapped in buying expensive fragrances and exfoliating scrubs. A scrub that contains only two chemical ingredients can provide better results than those containing up to 11 products. It might seem complicated to understand, however, some types of scrubs are meant to dissolve dead skin cells to release them from your pores to allow your existing liquid to drain back out. For example, a gentle scrub that contains rice starch might be best suited for removing dead cells from the surface of your skin. And that's why many skin-care experts recommend doing a patch test so that you know exactly what type of mixture you should use. Once you test the product, mix it with lemon juice so that the product doesn't stay sticky. Then wipe the area lightly with it to break the skin cells and leave them lying there like little brown streaks. Take these sludge particles as part of your weekly maintenance, but don't forget to leave plenty of room between each scrub so that the next thing you do might not irritate you.
5) Lotion
You have probably heard about the term "makeup" but did you ever think about how it could affect your skin? Well, makeup is great for hiding imperfections or minimizing wrinkles but it can also add extra moisture to your skin, which makes it look tired. Plus, it affects your skin by causing pigmentation which makes it look older. It is common knowledge that we must give our face a good makeup application each day to avoid looking tired. Moreover, your face also reacts and adjusts to makeup so that when you spend more money on cosmetics each day, it becomes harder to achieve your desired results the next day. We recommend leaving the make-up on until you get tired of wearing it or you reach the end of its lifespan. We believe even makeup has begun to become a necessary evil like rubbing alcohol. Do you think that you look nice? It's okay to go without a hint of lipstick once in a while, but don’t forget to reapply it periodically. That’s what your skin needs. Go ahead and show it how much beauty it can be without it.
